Built for seekers.

Our mission

Jaimini was built on a simple belief: that Vedic astrology, one of the world's oldest knowledge systems, deserves a platform worthy of its depth. We built Jaimini to make genuine Vedic guidance accessible, beautiful, and trustworthy.

Most astrology apps treat Jyotish as entertainment. We treat it as what it is: a sophisticated predictive and philosophical system that has guided human decisions for thousands of years. Every chart we cast is computed from the Swiss Ephemeris and read against classical rules, never a sun-sign lookup table.

Why “Jaimini”?

Maharishi Jaimini was a disciple of Vyasa and one of the most consequential thinkers in Indian philosophy. He founded the Purva Mimamsa school, one of the six darsanas, and wrote the Jaimini Sutras, which set out a complete and distinctive system of predictive astrology.

What makes his system unusual is the lens. Where the more familiar Parasari approach reads planets sitting in houses, Jaimini reads the chart through the signs themselves, through significators ranked by degree, and through sign-to-sign aspects. The two do not contradict each other. They simply ask different questions of the same chart.

His idea of the Atmakaraka, the planet furthest advanced in degrees and so the carrier of the soul's deepest lesson, puts the person's inner development at the centre of the reading rather than the events happening around them. We took the name because that is the posture we wanted the app to have.

What we stand for
